Montgomery County police tweeted at 12:30pm Tuesday afternoon that they are currently responding to a bank robbery in the 18000 block of Flower Hill Way (Flower Hill Shopping Center) in Gaithersburg.https://mocoshow.com/blog/mcpd-responding-to-bank-robbery-in-gaithersburg
Nearby Mill Creek Towne Elementary School at 17700 Park Mill Dr and Shady Grove Middle School are currently in a shelter in place due to the incident.

It was the M&T bank. I had an appointment there and couldn’t have it because it was blocked off by caution tape and several police cars.
