Rockville entrepreneurs Tiffany and Chris McCasland, co-founders of The Chair Blanket, are scheduled to appear on Shark Tank on March 4 at 10pm on ABC. Chick-fil-A at Montrose Crossing has announced new details surrounding its reopening following a temporary closure for renovations earlier this year.
The National Weather Service has released a new map (featured photo) showing the “probability of at least minor winter weather impacts” for Monday, March 2, with most of Maryland now falling in the 50 to 70 percent range.
The Montgomery County Council unanimously approved a $1 million special appropriation to the Fiscal Year 2026 operating budget to support programs run by the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services.

The Montgomery County Department of Police Major Crimes Division has arrested Maurquise Emillo James, 22, in connection with the fatal shooting of Robert Fuller Jr., 87, at Cogir Potomac Senior Living. James, a Baltimore resident and employee at the facility, was arrested on February 24, 2026, and charged with first-degree murder.
The incident occurred on February 14, when officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service personnel responded to a reported medical emergency and found Fuller unresponsive in his apartment. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner later ruled his death a homicide caused by a gunshot wound.
The National Weather Service has placed most of Maryland and Northern Virginia in a “limited threat risk” category for potential winter weather on Monday.
