The Pretzel Bakery has closed its Cabin John Village location, bringing an end to a run of just under four years at the shopping center in Potomac.
“Savor Bethesda,” downtown Bethesda’s annual restaurant week event, will return in 2026 with an 11-day run from Thursday, February 19, through Sunday, March 1, 2026.
Blackbird Health has expanded into Maryland with a new pediatric mental health clinic in Gaithersburg, bringing additional behavioral health resources to children, teens, young adults, and families throughout Montgomery County.

Bring your family and friends to our free , all-day outdoor Oktoberfest celebration. These will be an outdoor craft fair featuring local artisans and professional woodworkers, a chainsaw carving, woodworking and tool demonstrations by Festool, Montgomery Wood Turners and Carvers. In August, we shared that Call Your Mother Deli would be returning to Bethesda with a new, permanent downtown location at 4828 St. Elmo Ave. A $475,000 permit has now been issued for construction, signaling that work is set to begin. While an exact opening date has not been announced, an opening later this year is expected.

Sherwood High School’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Revival is back for its 54th show, a tradition that has been going strong since 1971, with 2020 being the only year a live performance wasn’t held due to COVID-19 (a virtual show was produced instead). The event began when Sherwood students were inspired by a concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Since then, students audition for the show and spend months rehearsing with staff members to create a production that draws thousands of attendees each year.
