'Montgomery County Recreation Department will be hosting ‘Pride in the Field’ tomorrow at the White Oak Community Recreation Center (1700 April Lane, Silver Spring). The event will feature soccer, volleyball, and additional activities.

About this event:
Montgomery County Recreation Department and Unmatched Athlete will partner for a day of outdoor games and sports in White Oak for LGBTQ+ teens. No matter your athletic ability, there will be something fun for everybody! Lunch will be provided at noon.
Following Pride on the Field, come hang out at White Oak Rec Center’s new LGBTQ+ Safe Zone from 7:00pm-10:00pm.
Programming Schedule
Soccer:
- 12:15pm – 12:45pm: 5-8 & 9 -12
- 1:00pm – 1:45pm: 13-16 & 17-over
- 2:00pm – 2:45pm: 9-12 & 17-over
Volleyball:
- 12:15pm – 12:45pm: 13-16 & 17-up
- 1:00pm – 1:45pm: 9 -12 & 17-up
- 2:00pm – 2:45pm: 13-16 & 17-up
Additional Activities:
- Kickball: 3:00 – 3:45pm: 13 & Up
- Football Toss: Open to everyone 10 and up from 12pm – 3:45pm
- Corn Hole: Open to everyone 10 and up from 12pm – 3:45pm
- Skateboarding: Open to everyone 7 and up from 12pm – 3:45pm
- Basketball: Open to everyone 12pm – 3:45pm
