A vehicle fire in the driveway of a home on Cape Jasmine Way in Gaithersburg extended to the first and second floor of the residence, and has left one family displaced, according to Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Pete Piringer.
The house was unoccupied at the time and there were no injuries reported. The initial call to dispatch came just before 1pm.
The cause of the fire has not been released. We will update when more information becomes available.
