Madina Halal Market is set to open on Friday, Sept. 12, at 289 Muddy Branch Road in Gaithersburg, taking over the former African Market location in the Festival shopping center.
Montgomery County’s own comic and cosplay festival, RisuCon, will return on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The convention will run from 10am to 8pm and promises a full day of activities celebrating anime, comics, cosplay, and pop culture.
