A new fast-casual restaurant in Baltimore’s Cross Street Market is quickly making a name for itself, and earning a viral nickname in the process. The Jollof Bowl (1065 S. Charles St.) has been called the “African Chipotle,” offering a build-your-own experience inspired by the vibrant flavors of West Africa.
Signage for Fish Taco, the popular local restaurant known for its Baja-inspired cuisine, went up earlier this year at The Shops of Potomac Valley in Gaithersburg (12121 Darnestown Rd). A representative for the family-owned business shared that interior construction is set to begin soon, with an anticipated opening sometime in spring 2026.
