Commas, a new 13,000 square foot food hall coming to the third level of Ellsworth Place (8661 Colesville Rd) in Downtown Silver Spring, is anticipating a late-March opening, according to Source of the Spring.
Dunkin’ has been making a big push lately in Montgomery County, with new locations at the Layhill Center (14328 Layhill Rd) in Silver Spring and in the Goshen Crossing Shopping Center in Gaithersburg/Montgomery Village, where it has taken over the former Capital One Bank building at 20000 Goshen Rd. Last December, we let you know that Dunkin’ is continuing its massive expansion across the country and within MoCo, and there are currently six locations in the works:

Per Montgomery County: “The public hearings for Bill 42-23, Health and Sanitation – Menstrual Products in Public Restrooms – Required, and the accompanying Resolution to adopt Bill 42-23, Health and Sanitation – Menstrual Products in Public Restrooms – Required as a Board of Health Regulation, will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. instead of Dec. 5, 2023.
Maryland State laboratory testing has detected a case of highly pathogenic H5N1 avian influenza (HPAI) in Caroline County. Following increased mortality of a broiler operation and investigation by the Maryland Department of Agriculture, it has been preliminarily confirmed that poultry from the affected farm has tested positive for HPAI.
