The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is asking for the public’s help identifying a man who may have been in or near the Wayne Avenue Garage on December 21, 2022, as investigators believe he could have information relevant to an ongoing homicide investigation. (more…)
The horse has been reunited with its owners and is unharmed, per an update on various Lost Pets groups.
The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) 5th District officers responded to a collision involving a vehicle and a horse in the 25000 block of Burnt Hill Road in Clarksburg on Friday afternoon and report that the horse ran off and may be injured. Maryland State Police arrested three men from Prince George’s and Charles counties and seized multiple firearms following a Maryland Car Rally Task Force investigation tied to an illegal car rally involving about 300 people in the Baltimore Metro Region on June 29, 2025. Search warrants executed on September 3 led to additional firearm seizures, and the suspects face various charges related to unlawful vehicle use, firearm possession, and ammunition violations.
