The new Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) station replaces an outdated facility with a new, sustainably designed, energy-efficient building. The Glen Echo Fire Department has announced its Open House will be this Saturday, June 7, from 11:30am through 1:30pm. This year’s Open House will once again be held at Glen Echo’s Fire Station 711 on Massachusetts Avenue.
The Town of Ocean City has officially passed new beach regulations prohibiting tents and limiting canopy use on its beaches, effective immediately. This ordinance “aims to enhance safety, improve visibility, and ensure a more enjoyable experience for all beachgoers.”
