Updated Snow Forecast Map: Winter Weather Advisory for NW MoCo
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Northwest MoCo that begins at 3am and goes until 3pm Monday.
According to the NWS, NW MoCo consists of areas like Germantown, Clarksburg, Damascus, and Poolesville.
1-3 inches of snow is expected with snow starting around 7am and mixing with sleet in the early afternoon hours before changing over to rain.
The NWS expected snowfall map can be seen below:
Just over half of MoCo is in the 1-2” range (as far south as Rockville) with the remaining portion in the < 1” part of the map. In this update, Damascus is no longer in the 2-3” range.
