The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is reminding residents that due to a Halloween Block Party on Dallas Avenue in Four Corners, Ride On Route 19 will not serve certain stops on Friday, Oct. 31, from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Passengers should instead use the nearby stops at Dallas Avenue and Lanark Way during the temporary service change. Mangino’s first opened more than a decade ago inside the Express Gas Station at 13001 Wisteria Dr. (now a 7-Eleven), where it earned a loyal following for its New York-style pizza. In 2018, the restaurant moved a few doors down into Germantown Plaza, expanding its space and menu to include more traditional Italian entrées.

Bethesda

Robert (Bob) David Youngentob, the Executive Chairman and founding partner of Bethesda-based EYA, LLC, passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 64, following a battle with cancer, according to an online obituary. Youngentob, a longtime Montgomery County resident and one of the region’s most respected developers, was widely recognized for shaping urban living across the Washington metropolitan area.
