Gaithersburg City Manager Tanisha Briley announced the appointment Karen (Boyd) Turner as the new assistant city manager. Turner will assume the duties of assistant city manager effective September 29, 2025.
Bakehouse, which opened in Downtown Frederick at 69 S. Market St. back in March 2021, has announced that it will moving to a new home at 155 West Patrick St. in Downtown Frederick in 2026.
