DC Sports

In a significant move ahead of the 2025 NFL season, the San Francisco 49ers have reached an agreement to trade a 2026 6th round pick for Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. The trade, pending a physical, was reported by NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, who stated on social media that Robinson will join the 49ers’ backfield, adding “added punch” to their run-heavy offense.

Seneca Valley High School’s newest music teacher, Mr. Gage, is tuning up for the academic year in a way you’ve probably never seen before. Gage has spent the last six years at Neelsville Middle School, and has taught in public schools for 8 years. Instead of a typical introductory email or slideshow, he’s created a head-banging, genre-bending music video to introduce himself to his students (video below).

On Thursday night, a fire erupted in a single-family home on Dellabrooke Farm Lane, off Goldmine Road, in Brookeville. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded with approximately 65 firefighters and multiple units.

Thirteen members of the Southern District of West Virginia’s CUFFED Task Force have been awarded the Distinguished Group Award by the U.S. Marshals Service for their swift and professional actions in a high-stakes fugitive investigation, wvnews.com reports. The honor was presented at the 43rd Director’s Honorary Awards ceremony, recognizing their role in the capture of a murder suspect accused of murdering a Maryland Parole Agent in Montgomery County, MD.
