The Maryland Department of Health (MDH) has confirmed five new cases of measles in Central Maryland residents who recently traveled together to an area of the U.S. experiencing an active measles outbreak.
Amar Mukunda, the Democratic nominee for Maryland’s District 39 State Senate seat, along with District 39 Democratic Delegates Greg Wims, Lesley Lopez, and Gabe Acevero, released a joint statement following two recent incidents on Lost Knife Road in Gaithersburg: a stabbing on Saturday and an officer-involved shooting on Sunday that resulted in the death of an armed man.
General admission is $25 per person, which includes chili tastings. Free Admission for kids under 18, Police Officers and their Family is provided by MCPF). All proceeds benefit the Foundation’s mission to strengthen community-police relationships, support officers wellness, and enhance public safety initiatives across Montgomery County.
