Bullis School standout Quincy Wilson, already the youngest male U.S. Olympian in track and field history, has announced that he’s committing to the University of Maryland. The decision was shared Monday evening on SportsCenterNext, where Wilson confirmed that he will continue his academic and athletic career just a short drive from his Potomac campus.

Maryland Attorney General Anthony Brown announced that the U.S. Department of Justice has withdrawn new restrictions that would have limited critical VOCA and VAWA legal services for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, following a lawsuit filed by Maryland and 20 other states.

DMV

Metro has secured more than $50 million in new federal funding to modernize its bus fleet, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) announced Wednesday. The agency will receive $50,322,380 through the FY 2025 Low or No-Emission Grant Program, supporting the purchase of 50 new 40-foot diesel-electric hybrid buses.
