Announcement

Celebrate an evening of Kuchipudi with Traditions, a solo performance by Madhuvanthi Sundararajan featuring a live orchestra. Presented as the culmination of the Maryland State Arts Council Folklife Apprenticeship, this performance marks the year-long artistic journey between master tradition bearer Kasi Aysola and apprentice Madhuvanthi Sundararajan. This inspiring evening welcomes audiences of all backgrounds. August 14, 7 p.m. | Silver Spring Black Box Theater.


Event

General admission is $25 per person, which includes chili tastings. Free Admission for kids under 18, Police Officers and their Family is provided by MCPF). All proceeds benefit the Foundation’s mission to strengthen community-police relationships, support officers wellness, and enhance public safety initiatives across Montgomery County.

In addition to delicious chili, attendees can enjoy local craft beer from Lone Oak Brewery, family activities, and opportunities to meet and interact with Montgomery County police officers in a fun, relaxed setting.

The Maryland Attorney General’s Office issued a Final Order against Korey Homes Building Group and its former owners after determining they violated the Consumer Protection Act by taking payments for home building services they did not provide and misusing consumer funds.
